Viewing Unit Activity
Activity over time, also called the Activity timeline, provides a visual summary of a selected vehicle or asset’s activity during the current day. It helps you quickly see when the unit was moving, idling, or stopped.
Operational state
The operational state shows what the unit is currently doing or the most recent state reported by the unit. Depending on the available data, you may see:
- Driving / In transit: The unit is moving.
- Idling: The unit is stationary while the engine or ignition remains active.
- Stopped: The unit is not moving and has been recorded as stopped.
- Parked: The unit is stationary and has been recorded as parked.
Activity profile
The Activity profile provides a visual breakdown of the unit’s activity during the day.

Activity timeline
The Activity timeline shows the unit’s activity across the current day. Use the timeline to compare periods when the unit was:
- Moving
- Idling
- Stopped
Tip: Use Activity over time for a quick overview of the unit’s day. For investigating a specific journey, event, or time period, open the trip from the Trips tab for more detailed information.
