Sell safety with new driver fatigue and distraction monitoring solution from 3Dtracking and CareDrive

We are pleased to share that CareDrive’s MR688 driver fatigue and distraction monitoring device is now integrated with the 3Dtracking platform. Already, we have seen this solution deployed across fleets in cargo logistics, transport, mining, and heavy machinery, industries where the risk of fatigue is high and tolerance for failure is low.

Who is CareDrive?

CareDrive is a global technology business leading the way in automotive safety management with professional management solutions and services for many different types of vehicle fleets.

Since their launch in 2000, CareDrive has insisted on independent development, sustainable innovation, strict controls in product quality, and a customer-oriented philosophy.

How CareDrive's solution works for driver fatigue monitoring

CareDrive’s MR688 devices use patented pupil identification technology to analyze captured images and identify if drivers have become inattentive due to drowsiness or distraction (even if they’re wearing sunglasses).

Designed with automotive-grade image sensors and Pentium II high-speed digital signal processors, these devices are also adaptable to different lighting and weather conditions. Features include:

  • Driver fatigue detection through the camera.

  • Speed detection function to prevent false alarms.

  • Compatible with 12V and 24V vehicles.

  • GPS-based speed detection.

  • Both visual and audible alerts.

How 3Dtracking and CareDrive work together

The CareDrive device captures the event and sends the event image and details to the 3Dtracking platform. These event details can include time, date, and location. Fleet managers can then view the event in our platform, investigate what happened, and follow up with the driver.

This solution for driver fatigue and distraction monitoring is fully integrated with all of the functionality in the 3Dtracking platform and is available as part of our software’s overall driver behaviour monitoring capabilities.

The benefits of white labeled driver monitoring

Create a new, high-value safety service

Offer driver fatigue and distraction monitoring as a standalone solution, or bundle it into an existing driver behavior package to increase contract value by addressing one of the biggest causes of accidents: tired and distracted drivers.

Turn safety into a revenue opportunity

Move beyond tracking and reporting. This solution lets you monetize proactive safety, not just post-incident insights.

Reduce accidents before they happen

Detect fatigue and distraction early, helping your clients intervene before risky behavior turns into costly incidents, downtime, injuries, or even loss of life.

White labeled and partner-ready

We make your job easier by doing the complex work for you. Our white-labeled telematics platform equips you to offer driver fatigue and distraction monitoring as a standalone safety solution, an add-on to driver behavior monitoring, or part of a broader video telematics package.
